Military Law and Employment Rights for the Guard and Reserve

Military Law and Employment Rights for the Guard and Reserve features three local Judge Advocate General (JAG) officers from the U.S. Army Reserve. Colonel Thomas McBroom, Major Kent Shelton, and CPT Alex Brown all currently serve in various assignments in the Army Reserve and each has extensive experience in both military law as it relates to service members, as well as federal and state employment law protections for members of the Guard and Reserve. This interview was recorded on October 10, 2017 for local radio station WXNV 105.1 FM by fellow Army Reserve officer Tim Klob for his weekly legal talk radio program. In this informative interview, these JAG officers discuss the basics of federal employment law protections for Guard and Reserve service members and the role of attorneys in helping service members and veterans protect their rights and benefits.
